Damages / Returns

We check every pack before dispatch but unfortunately the odd broken flag cannot be avoided. Please mark the delivery note if you notice any breakages upon delivery. If an unusual number of slabs are broken we will obviously arrange replacements. Please take pictures while still in the crate and while emptying the crate, email these images with a breakdown in sizes and we will respond with a solution.

A refund will be processed once we have received and checked the goods.

Laying

We can provide a laying guide, the dimensions won’t match your patio exactly but it will give you a start.

Sandstone, limestone and slate don’t need any preparation before being layed. As porcelain is non-porous it needs to be primed with a primer.

We recommend that all dressed paving is laid with a 10mm joint. All sawn edge paving, including porcelain, should be laid with an 1mm joint.

The only paving that needs to be sealed is the Kota Black Limestone as this will prevent it from being bleached by the sun. All our other products do not need to be sealed, however, if they are they will be offered some protection from weathering. When sealed the colours in the paving will be slightly enhanced which then obviously comes down to personal preference.

We recommend that all paving is washed with a pressure washer at least once a year, best done in spring. if you don’t have a pressure washer then there are companies who will do this for you. Please take extra care not to get to close to the joints.
